too bad they don't offer windows hosting

My experience seems to be the exact opposite of the other reviewer. I made the website for an online magazine and chose Feature Price because it was cheap. But I was very pleasantly surprised that we've never experienced any downtime, and the support has always been phenomenal. I've been able to get through by phone at all hours of the day. In fact, I've only had to call support with questions about set-up, and not with any actual problems. I like being able to call them as opposed to waiting for an email response. The tech support staff was far more knowledgable, courteous and professional than other hosts I've worked with. But the last time I called was in the summer of 2001. Perhaps word got out about how great their service is, and they're having a hard time keeping up with business? Anyways, I'm looking for a windows host for my personal site, and I wish I could find someone like Feature Price. Too bad they only offer UNIX hosting.

I have four sites hosted with FeaturePrice. At first, I thought man what a great offer. Almost too good to be true. Well, I was right. It is way too good to be true. The prices are the cheapest you will find for the amount of storage and/or bandwidth. But if you have a site where uptime is critical, looks someplace else. You will be very sorry. As I type this. All my sites are down. The featureprice site is down and their 800 number? Forget it. Busy, busy, busy
