We host 6 sites with them. We have started developing an ASP.net web app to support our operations. These guys dont know what they are doing. We have had several problems with Database access permissions and session variables. They dont own up the responsibility. Only when you email them the problems seem to disappear....really a big issue...

We have more than 30 websites hosted on their servers, and sometimes we need instant support to certain problems which can be very critical to our clients. Their technical support team has been extremely helpful and instantly took care of the problems facing us.

several problems come from thsi company. 1st is the bad tech support. 2nd is the bad billing. I had several sites hosted by them. When there was any problem, their tech support was slow, unknowledgeable and bad at rectifying problems. When i decided to leave the company, they billed me anyway and refused to put the money back in to my credit card account. They have had lay-offs in the last year. Dont expect them to stay around much longer. One last thing. They charge a LOT for unix hosting. Unix and Linux is a free platform that you shouldnt have to charge much for to begin with.

I have had two sites on Halfprice Hosting and whenever there was a problem I've expereinced poor customer service and noticed that the tech support folks are not knowledgeable...
The company should not be in the hsoting business, my site has been down for a week...

I started with this company when they were quite a bit smaller on the recommandation of a webhost comparison. Since then I have signed up at least 3 friends/family as well.
-- Up Time is very well achieved, with very few outages at this point (they have been upgrading like crazy). -- Live Chat Tech Support is GREAT. The techs are also willing to 'LISTEN'. There have been times where my experience led me to guess at an issue solution and they were more than willing to hear me out. Once I was even right *wink*. -- FrontPage or Cold Fusion options, Now Unix as well. Lots of options for someone from a serious personal user to good sized business.
