I've been with Hosttoday fro 3 years now...off and on......mostly off. They are happy to bill you each year, but take ages to acknowledge a request for attention, when an urgent problem, like your web site being inaccessible, occurs.
I'm looking elsewhere, and I wouldn't recommend hosttoday to anyone...

Like most things, when the service is running well, all is fine. The trouble is that there have been large periods of downtime... with no explanation given or warning on their site. Downtime has lasted more than a week on a couple of occasions(including as I write this) and it's almost impossible to contact anyone about it(as I'm experiencing now). Even when you do get hold of someone(luckily one of the guys is on my MSN list) there are constant broken promises and blatant lies about the situation.
The website is useless too... and the forums have vanished. No response from the ticket system either.
Very amatureish all round really. Avoid at all costs.

I've been with hosttoday for over 3 years now. In the last year the support has gone from a response time of 2 days minimum, and is now up to a week if you are very lucky.
Servers run, but when they go down, they really go down, and you can't find out anything for days. I have also had DNS issues for the last year, which have still not been properly resolved, my main domains work, but all addon domains do not for a large number of people.

Sent several emails before signing up. Each time i waited almost 2 days for a response. Finally i was setting up a forum and i emailed them for support. They said that its not their problem and they are only here to provide web space - fair enough but it was really quite blunt the way they put it. In the end it turns uot they made my database with the wrong permissions - after they fixed it the site was finally running. Their servers are ok though i have seen better, but my worst fear is if i ever have to cnotact them for support again.

I spent some time going from host to host because the ones i was using were very bad in their service. I stumbled accross HostToday.co.uk by accident, tried it out and i've been with them ever since, i highly reccomend them to anyone. They are the most proffesional web hosts i have ever come accross, i have not once had any reason to complain, and their service has been up the entire time i have been with them.
